    If you want to astound your friends or just want to brush up on your cookery skills then why not enroll to the Nick's cookery masterclass? Held on 7th May 2008 Dameon Clarke, our talented head chef, is hosting the class here at Nick's.
     
    Kicking off at 9.30am with coffee followed by a cookery demonstration and a questions and answers forum with Dameon. Following this is a scrumptious lunch and the afternoon is rounded off with fine wine tasting from one of the best wine suppliers in the UK. The day will close at 3.30pm.

    The Lord Nelsons House & Nick’s Restaurant, one of Rutland’s premier restaurants located at Market Square, Oakham, has recently been awarded for their hotel standards and culinary excellence by the AA hotel recognition scheme.
     
    Nick’s have been awarded 4 star AA hotel rating alongside 2 rosettes rating for the restaurant. This will come as no surprise to regular customers at Nick’s and was a main goal set to be achieved by owner Simon McEnery after the appointment of head chef Dameon Clarke last year.
